2. About the Institute

global employability and cross-cultural understanding through high-quality, accessible education.
The Institute’s values are founded on the principles of academic excellence, honesty, respect, inclusivity and support. FJICI operates in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the United Kingdom, including those of the Home Office and United Kingdom Visas and Immigration.
Our members of staff are experienced professionals who are committed to teaching excellence and to the personal and academic development of every learner.
All FJICI programmes are delivered under the institutional Quality Management System (QA–MAN–2025–001) to ensure consistency, transparency and continuous improvement.
3. Academic Information
Falésia Jovial International Career Institute offers a variety of educational programmes tailored to meet different academic needs and professional goals. Students may study languages at various proficiency levels, prepare for international language examinations, or undertake combined language and vocational adaptation programmes designed to prepare them for employment in the United Kingdom or abroad.
Language courses in English, German and French are offered at levels A1 to C1, with class schedules available in the morning, afternoon and evening. Adaptation programmes in Nursing and Hospitality combine language instruction with professional training and work-readiness modules. Teaching at FJICI is interactive and learner-centred. Students are encouraged to participate in discussions, role-plays and collaborative projects that build confidence and practical communication skills. Assessment takes place through regular class participation, written and oral assignments and end-of-course examinations. Upon successful completion of their programme, students receive a Certificate of Completion or Certificate of Attendance, depending on the course undertaken.
For in-person learners, all classes take place at the Hammersmith campus, which offers modern facilities, multimedia classrooms and communal study spaces. For online learners, classes are delivered live through the FJICI e-Learning Platform, supported by virtual classrooms, digital learning materials and recorded sessions for revision.
Each course follows the academic structure and assessment criteria defined in the Programme Specification (PS–ALL–2025–001).
4. Admissions and Enrolment
Admission to the Institute is open to all applicants who meet the entry requirements of their chosen programme. Prospective students must submit an application form along with relevant supporting documents such as a valid passport, academic transcripts and, where applicable,
proof of English or other language proficiency.
Once the application has been approved and tuition fees have been received, the Instituteissues an official Offer Letter and Confirmation of Enrolment. These documents are essential for students who require a visa to study in the United Kingdom.
All new students are required to attend an orientation and induction session prior to the commencement of classes. During this session, students are introduced to their academic timetable, course structure, assessment methods and the various welfare and support services available. Online students attend a virtual orientation webinar covering the same information.
Admissions procedures, document verification and fee payment processes are governed by the Admissions & Pre-Enrolment Policy (ADM–POL–2025–001) and the Institutional Fees &
Refunds Policy (FIN–POL–2025–001).
5. Attendance and Academic Progress
Regular attendance is a fundamental expectation of all students at Falésia Jovial International Career Institute. The Institute requires a minimum attendance rate of eighty per cent for all courses. This requirement ensures that students gain the full benefit of tuition and that international students comply with immigration regulations.
Attendance is recorded daily. Any absence due to illness or emergency must be reported to Campus Administrator (Admissions & Student Support) or the UK Operations & Compliance Officer. For absences exceeding two consecutive days, students are required to provide supporting evidence such as a medical certificate. Consistent non-attendance without a valid reason may lead to disciplinary action, suspension or withdrawal from the course.
Academic progress is monitored through continuous assessment. Students who encounter difficulties in understanding the course content or meeting assessment expectations are encouraged to seek help from their tutors or the UK Operations & Compliance Officer. Additional support sessions and academic counselling are available to assist learners in achieving satisfactory progress.
Attendance records are maintained in accordance with the Student File Management Procedure (ADM–PROC–2025–001).
6. Student Code of Conduct
All students at Falésia Jovial International Career Institute are expected to behave with integrity, respect and professionalism. The Institute is a diverse community that values cooperation and mutual respect, and every student is responsible for contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.
Students must treat all members of staff, tutors and fellow students courteously and avoid any form of harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour. The use of threatening language, physical aggression or any activity that may endanger others will not be tolerated.
Students are expected to arrive punctually for all lessons and remain in class until the session has concluded. Mobile telephones and other electronic devices should be kept silent during lessons unless authorised for educational use.
A student who breaches the Code of Conduct may receive a verbal or written warning. Repeated or serious offences may result in suspension, expulsion or referral to the relevant authorities if the behaviour constitutes a criminal offence. All disciplinary procedures are conducted fairly, with the student given an opportunity to respond to any allegations.
The Code of Conduct aligns with the principles of ethics, inclusion and respect outlined in the Staff Handbook (FJICI–MAN–2025–001).
7. Health, Safety and Student Welfare
The health, safety and well-being of every student are of paramount importance to the Institute. The Hammersmith campus is maintained in accordance with United Kingdom health and safety regulations, and students are expected to follow all safety instructions issued by members of staff. In the event of an emergency, students should remain calm, follow the evacuation procedures displayed throughout the building and assemble at the designated meeting point until authorised to return.
Emergency services in the United Kingdom can be reached by dialling 999 for police, fire or ambulance assistance. For non-emergency medical advice, students may call 111. The nearest major hospital to the campus is Hammersmith Hospital, located on Du Cane Road, London W12
0HS.
All international students must hold valid medical and travel insurance for the entire duration of their studies in the United Kingdom. Students should also register with a local General Practitioner (GP) to access medical care as required.
The Institute’s Student Services and Welfare Department provides confidential assistance to students experiencing personal, emotional or academic difficulties. Students are encouraged to speak to the Campus Administrator (Admissions & Student Support) or the UK Operations and Compliance Officer if they encounter problems relating to housing, culture shock or mental health. Where appropriate, referrals can be made to external counselling or health professionals.
All health and safety incidents are recorded using the Health & Safety Incident Report (H&S–FRM–2025–001) and reviewed under the Quality Manual (QA–MAN–2025–001).
8. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Falésia Jovial International Career Institute is firmly committed to equality of opportunity. The Institute opposes all forms of discrimination and harassment on the grounds of race, nationality, ethnic origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Every student has the right to study in an environment that is free from prejudice and intolerance. Members of staff receive regular training to ensure that equality and diversity principles are embedded in teaching and support practices. Students who experience discrimination or harassment should report the matter immediately to the UK Operations & Compliance Officer. All reports are treated confidentially and investigated promptly.
Equality and inclusion principles are implemented through the Human Resources Policy (HR–POL–2025–001) and monitored by the Quality Assurance Inspector.
9. Complaints and Appeals Procedures
Appeals process:
Stage 1 – Informal Resolution:
The Institute aims to resolve any issue swiftly and fairly. Students are encouraged, in the first instance, to raise any concern informally with the relevant tutor or the UK Operations & Compliance Officer. Most matters can be resolved quickly through open communication.
Stage 2 – Formal Complaint:
If a concern cannot be settled informally, formal complaints must be submitted using the Student Complaint Form (ADM–FRM–2025–002) addressed to the Campus Administrator (Admissions & Student Support). The complaint will be acknowledged in writing within three (3) working days, and an initial decision will be issued within ten (10) working days.
Stage 3 – Appeal Review:
If the student disagrees with the Stage-2 outcome, they may lodge an appeal in writing within five (5) working days. The Quality Assurance Inspector—independent from programme delivery—reviews the case and provides a written response within ten (10) working days.
Stage 4 – Final Review by CEO:
If the matter remains unresolved after Stage-3, the student may request a final review by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) within five (5) working days of receiving the Stage-3 outcome. The CEO issues a final decision within fifteen (15) working days.
All outcomes are communicated in writing, and records are securely stored in accordance with
the Student File Management Procedure (ADM–PROC–2025–001).
10. Immigration Rules and Visa Compliance
All students holding a valid visa to study in the United Kingdom must comply with UK immigration laws and the specific conditions stated on their visa.
All visa and immigration matters are coordinated by the UK Operations & Compliance Officer, with administrative support from the Campus Administrator (Admissions & Student Support).
Students must provide valid immigration documents upon enrolment and promptly report any changes to their personal details or visa status. FJICI monitors visa compliance and attendance in accordance with UKVI regulations.
Failure to comply with visa or immigration requirements may result in suspension or termination of studies and notification to the Home Office.
11. Online Learning and Digital Conduct
Students enrolled on online courses must meet the same academic and behavioural standards as those studying in person. They are expected to maintain punctuality, participate actively in live sessions and complete assignments by the stated deadlines.
To ensure a professional and respectful online environment, students must join virtual lessons from a quiet location with a stable internet connection and a functioning camera and microphone. Recording or sharing lessons without permission is prohibited.
The Institute’s e-Learning Platform allows students to access digital resources, submit coursework and communicate with tutors. Technical support is available for any difficulties accessing the system. All online sessions are conducted in accordance with the Institute’s safeguarding and data protection policies.
All digital communication and data handling must comply with the Office Security, IT and Information Handling Policy issued by Falésia Jovial ́s Group (uncontrolled document).

Falésia Jovial International Career Institute processes all personal information in accordance with the Office Security, IT and Information Handling Policy, and applicable data protection legislation (e.g., UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018). Student data are collected solely for
educational and administrative purposes and are stored securely.
The Institute does not disclose personal information to third parties without consent, except when required by law or for visa compliance reporting to the Home Office. Students may request access to their personal records in writing.
14. Academic Integrity
Academic honesty is fundamental to the reputation of both the student and the Institute. Plagiarism, collusion or any form of cheating is strictly prohibited. Students must ensure that all submitted work is their own and that sources are correctly acknowledged.
If plagiarism or dishonesty is suspected, the matter will be investigated in accordance with the Academic Misconduct Procedure. Proven cases may result in loss of marks, suspension or expulsion.
Academic integrity is monitored under the Quality Manual (QA–MAN–2025–001), and breaches are reported through the Incident / Non-Conformity Report (QA–FRM–2025–002).
15. Student Feedback and Continuous Improvement
The Institute welcomes student feedback as an important part of continuous improvement. Feedback is gathered through surveys, evaluation forms and discussions with student representatives.
